Marilyn made our apartment look absolutely STUNNING! We are so thrilled that we can’t stop looking at it! What a wonderful welcome for us when we walked in. Funny story about the office - My husband fought with me about that room. He couldn't envision how the two paint colors would work together, nor how the big pieces of furniture would fit. The other day he says to me - "I got this so wrong. This office is so beautiful. I will definitely be working in here. I think it is actually my favorite room." Huge compliments to Marilyn and D’Amore Interiors. Thank you Marilyn for everything - we are so proud to call this apartment our home. It is warm, inviting, elegant and rustic - everything we dreamed of.
Marilyn hit a home run. She recognized our needs, nailed our desires. Focused, great taste, well prepared and meticulously organized. We live in North Dakota but happened to be in Denver and stumbled across D’Amore Interiors. Sometimes the best things in life are the things unplanned. Thanks to Marilyn for everything. Seriously. Looking forward to working with D’Amore Interiors more in the future.
We bought almost all of our furniture from D'Amore. We worked mostly with Gina and she has an amazing gift of interior decorating. I think it is the best furniture store in Denver!
The majority of our lake house furniture was purchased from D'Amore Interiors in Denver even though we live in Ohio!! Gina is our design guru and is incredibly gifted!!
We have worked with D'Amore Interiors on two homes! Our second home, was completely furnished by them. Marilyn and her family and staff are so professional and talented. It was truly a pleasure to work with them and we will certainly work with them again. We could not be happier with our furniture and decor from DAmore!
It has been a pleasure to work with Marilyn, Frank, Gina and Eric at D'Amore Interiors. They have done an excellent job furnishing and accenting our homes. They listened to our ideas and have always gone above and beyond in providing quality furniture, accents and design services that met every expectation. Their service has always been exceptional and have addressed any request we have had in an expedient and professional manner. We highly recommend D'Amore and will use them again with any future needs.
The first time I walked into D'Amore Interiors I knew I had found the perfect place to begin replacing the dated furniture in our home. Marilyn introduced herself and very quickly identified my style. Given that I was starting by redecorating an entire family room, she came to our house and put together a plan that was beyond our expectations. We have since redecorated our living room as well as our home in the mountains and receive rave reviews from everyone who sees it. My experience with Marilyn and D'Amore Interiors has exceeded every expectation I had and the quality, price and selection is unmatched in Colorado.
Our experience was wonderful from the time we entered D’Amore Interiors. They have quality furniture you do not find everywhere. Gina was friendly, helpful, and at the same time, provided us freedom to explore. We explained our unique octagonal bedroom and Gina suggested she come measure to provide suggestions for the space. Her youth is a disguise for her design knowledge. Within days, she provided a floor plan with samples and actual furniture selections so we could really understand the concept. Gina listened to our comments and offered options that exceeded our expectations. In less than an hour, we had a perfect plan including floor coverings, furniture spaced just right, bedding, coordinating fabric selections for drapery panels and pillows, creative custom rods, and lighting. Gina personally came to place everything, even hanging the window treatments! It all came together to create our dream bedroom. Gina’s design talents along with her personality place her on the top of my list.
In 2009 I purchased a new mountain home in Summit County and was referred to D’Amore Interiors by a friend and fellow property owner in Breckenridge. I had some idea of the look and feel I wanted for my new home but knew I needed an experienced designer who could create a comprehensive vision and space plan that would fulfill my desires. Interior designing is in Gina’s blood as her family has owned and operated D’Amore Interiors in Denver for many years. Gina is bright and vibrant, and when first introduced I knew immediately she would take the stress off me and make the process a lot of fun. I believe one of Gina’s strong qualities as a designer is she allows you to be engaged in the decision making all the while gently steering and educating you on design concepts in a respectful manner. I have worked with some designers in the past that are too domineering and didn’t allow me to feel like I had enough decision making. And although it quickly becomes apparent she puts her heart and soul into every little design detail before her formal presentations, she is open minded, versatile and creative enough to incorporate my desired changes into a final look that always exceeds my expectations. I can honestly say my neighbors, family, and friends while visiting my mountain home always rave about the quality of the design and furnishings. I wish I could take the credit but I know it was Gina’s skill set as a designer that put the ‘wow’ into my mountain getaway!
Lastly I want to mention I recently hired Gina to space plan and design my newly constructed contemporary townhome in Lohi on Umatilla Street. For this space I knew I wanted quality design and furnishings but with a much different feel and look than my mountain home. Gina has once again exceeding my expectations and the project should be finished by late spring of this year. I know Gina and I will work together on future projects and I will continue to refer her to my close friends and colleagues.
We’ve had the most rewarding experience working with Gina over the past couple years and whole-heartedly believe she is deserving of a top honor.
Almost two years ago as Ron and I were nearing the end of construction on our new home, it was time to consider the daunting task of choosing furniture and interior finishes. We were frazzled from construction and were frankly not sure where to turn. After seeing an ad for D’Amore Interiors in a few design magazines, we decided to visit thinking that we might be able to get some ideas of where to start. To our delight we met Gina D’Amore Bauerle, who was a breath of fresh air and the answer to our design dilemma. Her creative vision, hard work and awesome personality matched up with our dream of a home that is not only stylish but also comfortable, livable and desirable.
What surprised us the most was how Gina conducted business. We weren’t totally prepared for someone to take charge and tackle the dimensional challenges of our custom home. She welcomed the opportunity and offered to visit our home and prepare a complete furniture design plan for our consideration. Much to our delight, her selections and suggestions were fresh and right on point to create the comfortable and inviting feel we wanted to achieve. At times Gina’s suggestions nudged us out of our comfort zone just a bit, but each time we were thrilled with the results. As we worked through the process of selecting pieces, Gina easily made adjustments to incorporate existing furnishings and artwork throughout our home. She was particularly patient as we pondered decisions and was always respectful of our budget and timeframes.
Gina has earned our total trust, respect and confidence! So much so that on a recent trip to deliver a few items, we welcomed Gina’s offer to bring along some filler pieces and finishing touches she felt would add just the right pop here or creative flair there. It was no surprise that we loved them and decided to keep them.
Gina is a top-notch designer whose passion for her work is reflected in her amazing design abilities, personal attention to every detail from planning to placement and her commitment to making customers happy. She is a true gem worthy of the spotlight!
D’Amore Interiors was recommended by a friend, and we met Marilyn & Gina on our first visit. They offered to come to our home, where they measured and took photographs. A week later we met at the store and they were perfectly prepared with fabric samples, photographs of recommended furniture, drapery recommendations and diagrams of our rooms showing the layout of their suggestions. I have met many designers over the years, and D’Amore Interiors is the first to really hear what we wanted and provided creative, bold solutions that are perfect for our home. We had a great experience and are thrilled with their design work.
When I walked into D'Amore Interiors in 2012, exhausted from what was a nearly three year construction endeavor, I expected to look only for a sofa. It was at that point that Marilyn & Gina walked out, offered to look at the house blueprints, and to provide some ideas. I left them with a roll of papers, scooped up my little Maltese, and went on my way, expecting to return the following week to see a couple of pieces of furniture that I might (or might not) be able to use somewhere. I was dubious that a designer would figure out what I would like. By the time I returned to her store the following Saturday, they had options for every piece of furniture for the entire house laid out in a beautifully organized way. And, they nailed it. It took me about three hours to furnish the whole house. The look was young but sophisticated, fresh but not trendy, contemporary but not cold. They did a beautiful job at choosing unique, organic, and timeless pieces.
About a year later I decided it was time to re-furnish and decorate my office downtown. Gina came to our building, took measurements, and led me to the right choices yet again. We furnished the office in a retro-modern look, around a contemporary rendering of the Spanish Hills painted by Tracy Felix. It is very different from our home in Golden, showing Gina's range and her ability to adjust to the location.
I am now embarking on my third endeavor with D’Amore Interiors, a house on the shores of Shadow Mountain Lake. Marilyn & Gina have provided the interior design for the whole house yet again. I trusted them with every decision. They have come up with a fabulously mountain modern motif, playing off of the lake and the mountain range in the background -- while staying away from the traditional dark heavy pieces and antler fixtures. The pieces they selected are made out of timeless woods and materials. We have a beautiful walnut table being custom made in Spain, with gorgeous leather benches and playful chairs on the ends. The great room will be filled with comfortable down sofa pieces and swivel chairs from Rene Cazares, and the theatre room will be furnished with a massive leather couch from gamma. Of course, the fabrics and designs they selected are, once again, interesting yet timeless.
A new flat in a new city was exciting but where to furniture shop was perplexing. Remembering Gina's name from a model she had decorated I contacted her. Sharing my hesitancy about using a designer she quickly made me comfortable with her ability to hear what I was saying. What developed was an amazing project fueled by the imagination, knowledge and expertise of this young designer. Wanting a contemporary look she was still able to incorporate my artwork, family treasures and pieces from my travels. The qualities I admired most was her ability to go outside the box, mix things up and add a younger eye to the design. Gina created the most beautiful home I've had. She may be Denver's best kept secret of talented and creative new talent on the design scene!
